Our History - 100 Years in the Making
Since its foundation in 1910, there has always been a business located close to the banks of the river Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
Initially formed to supply brass and electrical products to the shipyards of the Clyde, our brands have been built upon a strong maritime tradition. Synonymous with Glasgow businesses during the 1920’s and 30’s, the term ‘Clydebuilt’ was coined to symbolise a mark of quality and pride in engineering expertise.
With the rise of the North Sea Oil & Gas industry in the 1970’s we began to specialise in hazardous area equipment.
Today the global nature of the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industries demands a manufacturer that offers world class products and world wide service.
